Rail/Port/Air/Multimodal Transportation
Our integrated and efficient mode of transport is being designed for seamless logistics services.
Multimodal logistics is not just about having different trucks and trains; it’s about the seamless handover between them. We are in the process of offering rail and multimodal services to customers and providing cost-effective transportation solutions with lower carbon footprint.
Our Services
Multi-Modal Logistics Parks
Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs) are the flagship services acting as “super-hubs” located at or near major ports. They allow for the seamless transfer of bulk and containerized cargo between different modes under one-roof.
- First & Last Mile Connectivity: Using road transport to pick up goods from a factory and deliver them to a rail siding, and vice versa at the destination.
- Coastal-Rail Integration: Moving cargo via the sea (Sagarmala project) to a port, and then immediately onto a train for inland delivery.
- Integrated Port-Rail Services: Ports offering specialized rail services that carry double-stacked containers, reducing transport costs by nearly 25%.
- Air-Road Hybrid: Used across the country; trucks bring fresh produce to designed destinations, where it is immediately flown to different markets.
- Single Multimodal Transport Document (MTD): A legal "one-stop" contract where the provider (MTO) takes full liability for the cargo across all transport legs.
